You were designed to survive

The hurdle gets higher & so does your jump

I can’t help but think about how strong human beings are designed. We are made to endure all obstacles, and I mean it, all of them.

From the moment we are born we are instinctively looking to survive.
We cry for food, we get disturbed without rest, and we constantly need someone to show us love, care & attention. Ever since our most important purpose is to survive the present and to do that well.

And slowly, as we grow older, we feel the obstacles starting to kick in, one little hurdle at a time, and gradually they get higher, and guess what, so does your jump. You get stronger every time, every moment becomes familiar. Your mind involuntarily knows how to react and things start feeling less like shocks & more like normal daily encounters.

Sure the older you get the bigger the heart ache, but you learn how to take care of it. Just like you learn to understand others better, fall for what you truly love more, and share yourself deeply; you also know how to recover from all that.

And at some point, you know exactly what you do not want, and naturally what you want follows. You start seeking that & attracting it. Your being is ready and honest enough to embrace what it seeks.

The worst thing you can do at that point is run away from yourself. Seeing the obstacles slowly get bigger, and sometimes maybe all at once, should not scare you, should not allow you to alter reality at any point. On the contrary, they should be yet another motive for you to push harder, consciously and willingly. The worst thing you can do to your body, mind & soul is to trap them in a dark box and wait for the storm to pass. Because guess what, you just flunked the biggest test, and I am not talking about not facing the issue itself, but the fact that you chose to run away, postpone the pain & probably get double the hurt the next time it surfaces.

We must learn to want what is coming our way, regardless of what it may be. Embrace it. At some point in this life, we tend to be aware of so many things, if you could only sit with your inner self & listen, listen to your heart, your mind & what your body is actually trying to tell you. You can feel it, you can feel what yourself needs. Every new sensation inside you means something, is a warning, and on the spot, you can face it. We are not as complicated as we make ourselves seem. We become our own worst enemy when we decide to ignore little signs, those that our body is sending out to help, little small cries for help & attention. And every time we choose to ignore those little sounds they accumulate and that is when we find ourselves in a deep hole, one we believe is hard to get out of.

What I am trying to say is, never give up & that it is never too late to start again. If you want to know exactly how you feel and where to begin with yourself, connect with nature, right now, find that spot, be it the greenery or the waterside, and let go, be in the moment & listen to yourself.

After all, we were born looking to survive, we were born gently listening to what our body needs. Instinctively, we react & make sure we get what we want, stay that, know what your inner self is asking for, what it needs to push forward, & keep giving that to it, every single day.

Push forward every day, because you can, everyone can!
You were designed to survive!
